Joanne M. Cherisma

Joanne M. Cherisma is a Haitian born writer. In "I Never Thought I Would Be A Statistic" she shared her testimony of how she overcame an abusive marriage. She created Beyond the Abuse, Inc. in 2016 in order to bring awareness on abusive relationship and provide hope, empowerment, support and confidence to the victims. Joanne writes poetic prose that speaks to the hearts of many. Joanne uses her writing as an outlet and voice for those who can understand the slings and arrows of life.

Dianna Bellerose

Dianna Bellerose was born and raised in eastern Europe to a working class family. She spent most of her childhood with her grandparents. In 2004, she graduated from Edmonds Community College with an Associates of Arts degree. She is fluent in three languages and enjoys gardening, photography, drawing and exploring other cultures. She has a passion for writing about families and the obstacles they face in their lives, which has led her to also coaching individuals in achieving their own dreams.

Siah B. Hagin

Poet/Author Siah B. Hagin has worked for the New York City Department of Education for the past fourteen years and is currently a School Counselor within the same Department. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, she began writing poetry on her journey to healing. In "The Journey Continues: Stories of a Survivor", Poet/Author Siah B. Hagin tells us her story of survival, healing, and rediscovery through the art of poetry.

Glennys Arias works currently a receptionist and mailroom assistant. She writes because it’s her passion. To her, the idea of being able to create a story in your head and write it down on paper it’s the best availability on earth. "The Creator's Angel" is a book of fiction full off action and adventure. It doesn’t only display action and adventure but also displays getting through hard obstacles. If Ausra can do it, we all can grow and stick to our goal as well.

Lubran Edwards

Rubran Edwards is the author of "Radically Raw Poems" and "Seven Again", the first on a book of poems that deal with domestic violence, single parenting, racism. Her second book one talks about four friends who endure relationship issues. Lubran is currently working have three books that will be coming out sometime this year.

Terry K. Shaw is an author, inspirational speaker, and spiritual teacher. She is the author of the Power of ABCs, book one of the three-part Inner Soul Alphabet Series, and also the co-author of Lessons From My Grandmother’s Lap compiled by Regina ‘Sunshine’ Robinson. Terry offers insightful tips to her Facebook and Instagram followers, as well as to all in need of her wisdom and guidance. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, she currently lives in Monroe, New York.

Ms. Turner, a 72-year old, semi-retired nurse grew up in Cherry Hill, Baltimore. She moved to NY and received while over there, at 32-year-old, a full scholarship to nursing school and obtained her LPN certificate. She is most importantly, a child of God, a breast cancer survivor, and proud mother of her one and only child, her daughter Aidan. Always believing it’s never too late to follow your dreams, at age 59, she became a RN, and at 65, she got her bachelor degree in Nursing.

Blaque Diamond

Blaque Diamond is the C.E.O. of Blaque Diamond Enterprise. Her book "Stacey F. children's book series" on foster care and adoption garnered her several book awards, including the 2017 Indie Author Legacy Awards Community Champion Legendary Honoree. She earned her MSW degree from Morgan State University School of Social Work. She's a Certified Parent Coach and an advocate for children waiting for reunification. She co-writes "Open Your G.I.F.T.S. vol II" with actress-comedian Kim Coles.

Tamekah Crosswell

Tamekah Crosswell currently resides in New York City with her husband and 3 daughters and is an elementary school teacher in Bronx, New York. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, engaging in the arts, and of course-writing.

Sherwyn Besson is a Trinidadian-American educator, author, and coach. He graduated St. Francis College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He later earned a Master of Science in Business Management from Polytechnic University, and a Master of Science in Education from the College of St. Rose. Mr. Besson was recognized as the 2011 Long Island Herald’s Malverne/Lakeview Person of the Year and received the 2011 NAACP District Educator of the Year.

Sherese Francis

Sherese Francis is a Southeast Queens-based published poet, editor, text artist, and literary curator of the mobile library project, J. Expressions.

Kiran Marahatta

Kiran Marahatta is an internationally acclaimed television host, Author and Documentary maker from Nepal, based in NY. General Secretary of Nepal America Journalist Association, he was also a contributing writer at the Huffpost. Marahatta worked for Nepal Television, British Gorkha Media Network, Butwal FM, and ABC News Television. He's the author of “The Hope”, “Media in Mass” and “Nepali Who Is Who in the USA” and is currently serving as the Visual section chief and host at www.khasokhas.com.

Ini K. Veillard

Ini K. Veillard is an entrepreneur, registered nurse, mother, and the founder of Avïon LLC (online store coming soon!) And Hope of 1804 organization. After a life of learning how to pull herself up by her bootstraps, Ini lends a hand to those in need by providing feminine sanitary products and educational tools to women in third world countries. But when she isn’t fighting to empower women or caring for the sick at work, you can find Ini tearing up the dance floor and bowling the night away.

Leshawna Davis

Leshawna Davis was born in NY. At 15, she moved to Florida where she found the courage to express her feelings through poetry. She moved back to NY in her mid-twenties where she became an active member of Christ Pentecostal Temple, Inc. She is as a praise team singer, and a youth member. She is an inspiring nurse and on her free time, a poet, singer, song writer. She also enjoys swimming, seeking new outdoor adventures, and traveling.

Maria Fernanda Urgelles

Maria Fernanda Urgelles is a Partnership Specialist for the US 2020 Census Bureau. She works bringing Census awareness message in the Queens county, particularly, to the Latino communities. Maria is very passionate about bringing the message on the Importance and the impact that making ourselves count in the 2020 census, have for our future for the next 10 years.

Bridget Seibert

Bridget Seibert has always been her own wellness advocate and when she found Arbonne over 6 years ago, she knew it was a perfect match. Their mission is to empower people to flourish with sustainable healthy living. Being a mother of two young girls, Bridget wants to teach them how to take care of their health, and be their own wellness advocates. And through Arbonne, her family is able to take a holistic approach to beauty, health and wellbeing.

Saskia

Saskia P. Jackson moved is from Miami to British Columbia, Canada two years ago. She's married and has 3 young children. Saskia has always been passionate about health. Therefore, 6 years ago, she partnered with USANA Health Sciences on a mission to help families reach and maintain their health and financial goals.

Somer

Somer is a fitness enthusiast and content creator. After losing 100 pounds, she felt an urgent need to showcase her journey and write a book about how she lost weight naturally, to help those who are seeking sustainable weight loss & a healthier lifestyle.

Cynthia Jenny Noël

Cynthia Jenny Noël is a mother of three. She was born and raised in Haïti. She has been living in Canada for the past 17 years. She hold a bachelor in biotechnology and 2 masters in Immunology and Pharmaceutical sciences. She is a Pharmaceutical Industry professional and an independent consultant for Arbonne international. She decided a few months ago to have her online business with Arbonne for her personal development and to increase her revenues.

Adana Wellington

Adana Wellington is the founder of Serving Chocolate. Through her organization, she has empowered countless youth to be and love whom God has created in them. Through the power of words she has given youth inspiration to practice self love, self awareness and self worth. Adana has a Master Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. She also holds a Mass Communication Bachelor Degree from St. John's University. She is also a Therapist, Youth Advocate, Motivational Speaker, Author and Mentor.

Natasha Hill

Natasha Hill is a very talented singer and poet with years of experience. Her voice captivates and inspires others.

Sandrine Etienne

Sandrine Etienne is a Licensed Social Worker in the NYC area with over 16 years of working in health care. Sandrine works primarily within the Black, Brown and Latinx communities in the Queens and Brooklyn area. Her focus is on clients dealing, with chronic and debilitating illnesses and how their health impacts their overall well being. Helping caregivers adjust to their new normal by offering resources and tools to assist with the obstacles they face due to illness.
